I have officially issued a challenge to Clan 9mm for TROPHIES. I currently have over 200 (including only one Platinum for GODFATHER 2). I know some members may not feel compelled to acquire the Trophies, but it is a good clean fun challenge to those interested. I would like to implement a reward system of sorts for taking the lead in Trophy numbers as well as Trophy Level and Platinum Trophies. I think maybe an icon beside your name in the roster just like for other tasks (donating, member of HOME or whatever). If you have any ideas, let me or DJ know. We could have a Tally at the end of every 3 months, 6 months or year, whatever.
I know some of you say "Bah, trophies aint shit", but let me ask you this: Who amongst you, that do not care about trophies, has prestiged in Call of Duty? I see it as the same thing....just another "bragging rights" kind of thing, some trophies are REALLY difficult to get and I personally feel a sense of accomplishment when I achieve a trophy. I can almost promise you that once you get your first Platinum, you WILL want another!

Ok, so i am definitely one of the guys who says "Bah Humbug" to trophies. The difference between trophies and prestige in cod is that im gonna play cod...and it dosnt cost any money to get the next prestige. To earn alot of trophies, i may be forced to play thru a game i have no interest in, AND i would need to buy alot of games to seriously compete.
So i may not participate in this challenge, BUT....
I think its a GREAT idea for those who are interested, and i WILL be making trophey awards, and possibly a page on the website for people to report their own trophies (cuz it would take hours for me to look at everyones myself). The contest should last 3-6-12 months (ill have to think about that), with awards given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, along with ribbons to the top 10% of all those who participated (or something like that).
All in all i love the idea and i will be setting something up soon, but i probably wont be participating.
